I am going to highly discourage it, but honestly if this many people have been doing it and are still alive i guess it can’t be that bad… I will say I’ve noticed that laundry detergent doesn’t rinse off as well as dish soap. When I get detergent on my hands I could scrub them for 10 minutes non-stop and they’ll still be sudsing up… I’......   reply

i dont think so....because some chemicals in the detergent has different uses ....which arent usually safe to be eaten. altho washed it may leave some residue like cloths smell of detergent after being washed, dried and even worn sometimes.... id suggest you google diy dish soap in budget or whatever u have at home, if u cant buy rn. stay safe!   1 reply

I would recommend using regular hand/body soap before resorting to laundry detergent. And soap is most needed for cutting through grease. For non greasy dishes you could probably make do with just scrubbing them under hot water   reply
