it's abuse. you can't meaningfully say yes to something (a relationship) you can't meaningfully say no to. regardless of gender, whether it's parent-child, between siblings, extended family (aunts/uncles/cousins etc.), and even if there is no blood/biological relation, it's harmful. power dynamics (financial, emotional, physical, the list goes on),......
