Why do people (and the news) whenever they say something like "the whole world is affected by this" meanwhile it's just America that's being affected by whatever it is? A lot of Americans I 'met' also are really self centred and think the world revolves around them. They also think they're better than everyone else (same w/ Europeans).

Years ago some Americans came to my school and everyone wanted to see them so badly which I understood cuz it's only on TV we saw American people but thinking about it it's like there wasn’t even anything special about it. Like they were just random white people. One wanted to convince me so much that my parents would split up because theirs did and that if you hadn’t had x by age 14, it's somehow a bad thing and it makes you unlovable(because they already did and people around them) they are also some of the most racist people you'll ever meet (and Europeans). Attributing blonde hair and blue to just white people when they're not the only race that has it. Most Americans don't even have naturally blonde hair (and Europeans).

Btw "dumb blonde" "typical dumb blonde" "are you blonde by any chance?" but it's brown/black haired people that dyed their hair blonde??? Never made sense to me. And "I'm too European for this" pisses me off a lot. Anyway obviously I don't mean ALL Americans and Europeans. Thanks for listening to my TED talk!

It does, see the middle East war bombing stuff right now? Since US has bombed Iran which made a lot of middle east also get bombed due to US interfering. I don't know if this ever occurred to you, but America's problems become the world's problem is because America likes to take over the world and has New age colonialism going on. Many countries get their resources extracted and sent to America. America is a consumer economy And it's all the countries around the world that produce things. Same thing...... 1 reply

I can get where you are coming from but saying all Americans are self centered is wrong. Some of them are self centered, some of them are racists, but so are other people from around the world. Yes, the number of such people MAY BE a bit more than what we may find in other regions, but hating Americans as a whole is ofc wrong. And about the 'Amer...... 2 reply

Economically and politically speaking the whole world is affected by whatever America does. The same can be said with other countries like China, Saudi Arabia, Uk, Russia, Isnotreal.. But the difference is the sheer amount they do in comparison to other countries. When America gets involved in something, they make sure the spill over effects not ...... 1 reply

The U.S.A does have a ton of influence though it’s just one of the biggest nations in the UN (ofc not the biggest) but it definitely has a ton of power throughout the whole world.
