why do authors do this

idk if any of yall saw me in the cherry blossoms after winter comments but i came back for round two bc that shit actually had me fuming first off not just this author but why do many authors end a story just to do “side stories” or a continuation of it just to pull the most random fucking situation ever WUT MORE DO U WANT FROM US THE CHARACTERS R FUCKING HAPPY AND U DO THIS STUPID ASS SHIT

back to CBAW honestly tho i wished the stars would fucking align and tell me where this shit ass thought came from THEY WERE HAPPY THEY GOT MARRIED EVERYTHING WAS FINE how tf r u gonna bring randoms in and make haebom involved with him KNOWING U AS GHE AUTHOR IS GONNA DO GHE TYPICAL “they got told something by some fucking random npc and believed it and left their fucking partner THEIR SOULMATE SINCE CHILDHOOD but then oh wait months later MAYBE EVEN YEARS they find each other then the truth comes out and then it’s “oh shit maybe i am a fucking dumbass for BELIEVING A PERSON IVE KNOWN FOR 5 FUCKING SECONDS INSTEAD OF A DUDE IVE KNOW FOR YEARS” then they have another happy ass ending” i’m srry yall i have to get it off my chest bc i love this story but reading those new chapters filled me with a different type of range like uhhh hellooooo where was this in the main story and plotttt I DONT UNDERSTAND

Stuff I would pay to see in side stories instead of shit idgaf about: 1) the main couple'e relationship from the perspective of another character (maybe the second lead or a side character), extra points if its funny. 2) historical au 3) genderbend 4) genre change (like how would this story be like if it was gothic horror instead of fluff) 5) yur...... 2 reply
