Not exactly a superstition, but if I saw a scary vid or something and can’t fall asleep, I play bossa nova. Can you imagine getting attacked by an Alternate or a murderer while smooth elevator music is playing? I can’t, they’d be too busy grooving to kill me. Irrational problems require irrational solutions.
