from my experience, i start slowly with deskmate first and warmed up to rest of the class, i dont know if it because im the stereotypical introvert that they believe i'd warm up to them
it also depend who you are as a person
dont be all over the other person when trying to befriend them, a common interest usually work best to be friend it could be......
