I FUCKING HATE IT! omg I don't understand how people can enjoy it, like sure you want the mc to be treated like their more special than everyone else for the ml but people genuinely write mls who neglect their own children because they're jealous mc pays attention to someone else other than them??? ITS DISTURBING. I've seen it a lot in straight romance and omegaverse like bruh why would i enjoy reading about a ml who abuses his own children

there are many personality tropes i would haaatttteeeee if they were real but can enjoy in fiction. and i understand that other ppl are the same way with this trope. obviously some stories are written to exaggerate tropes for ppl who r into that. but that being said, i can't stand tasteless depictions of jealousy or the other things you describe. ...... reply
