I do something similar ╮(￣▽￣)╭ If first two chapters are boring, I read a random chapter to see if it's worth continuing or if the chapter has random embarrassing/misunderstanding moments that gets to a point where even the ML genuinely can't deal with their ahh so I just drop the series
