thoughts abt Endevour redemption arc
I don't get it. Am I being mean?
Like @s6 the whole family met Enji at the hospital and did a spiel about each having responsibility for Dabi turning out the way he did and how everyone is guilty, but I'm here thinking NO TF NOT. You guys were ALL victims of ONE man, and victims DO NOT need to feel guilty about their inadequacy in changing the situation. IT'S NOT YOUR FAULT, YOU ALSO SUFFERED.
You were all mentally and physically abused by Enji Todoroki. You were all not mentally well yourselves to save anyone else. The guilt is misplaced, it shouldn't have been shared, and how it was dealt with just pissed me off. Endever got off too easy. He didn't suffer enough. Fuck him.
Like I said, I don't get it. Is this actually good writing?????,? Wtf
my beef with that whole storyline was how much it centered endeavor to the exclusion of the rest of the family. there's so little of their perspective and individual relationships to him and each other that whatever emotional or personal journey they took to end up "forgiving" him and coming together at the end was super unsatisfying to me.
