Calling all computer savvy folks

Someone pls help me, I'm genuinely scared and I have nowhere to ask so earlier I downloaded and installed windows 11 25H2 repair version bc my windows update files were corrupted. I gave my laptop a restart and went off to take a nap since it's estimated to at least take an hour, when I came to I find malwarebytes running in the background for 3 hrs straight now!! That's exactly when I scheduled the restart, btw I'm on the free plan. Help is this normal?? Like wtf is going on??? (Fyi I tried googling and shit and couldn't find anything )

Id disconnect the wifi, save all my important files then reboot the computer entirely and go to a shop ask them for help. Search info on reddit too using a different device. Make sure to temporarily block your credit cards in case your info has been leaked. Change your email passwords etc just stay safe. 2 reply

Hard to say when you can't see it. Do you think you could have done something worth getting a virus for?
