Honestly, it makes sense. Being an idol for more than 10 years takes a lot of willpower and Mark was actually in the idol industry for 10+ years already. I can't imagine most ppl would willingly want to be an idol for so much of their life unless fanservice and aesthetics are their utmost passions.
