Working as a manga/manhua/manhwa artist
I know that a lot of ppl know this already but often times a lot of work go in hiatus due to health reasons.
Very concerning how often it happens… anyone know anyone who can say first hand how it’s like working in this industry? Like what is the mindset, the typical game plan that goes on in these companies’ head.
We’ve seen a lot of work pause due to health reasons, where it could have been probably solved if they addressed it earlier. Work with soo much potential has been cancelled due to again health and toxic workplace. And a lot of work that could have continue to be better(or have same quality) if the artist(s) didn’t get replaced/ were given the time to rest.
We can tell from the news that the workplace play a big role. Whether it be to reach deadlines or bring money hungry, I feel like it’s such a dumb move for them to not give the artist(s) rest.
Yeah that's why I often understand their anger towards piracy. I don't hate them for that cus like if I were in their shoes I'd be pissed too.
