While it can give false information, it still can also give you correct information. I've used it plenty on academic research to find links and it works cus it find ones that aren't behind paywall

im not even gonna try and educate you because its clear on alot of ur takes youre a ridiculous individual with performative tendencies to speak and talk before you do your research correctly, atleast try searching on your ai "what is generative ai" and see its including texts, images, audio, video etc. yes sure you can argue that ai that are used for healthcare purposes and to help in your academic might be beneficial and actually helps someone, tell me this then, what is the point of using ai to search urself on this website to find info about mangago users js for the sake of it? does it help you with ur academics? if you enroll in stupidity university, sure i can give you an apology.

Im in one of the top 5 university fyi lol, honestly it's just like for fun?? When I meant generative ai it's literally supposed to mean the ART and actually creative fields. Again, there are cons and pros of ai and I'm open minded enough to see that. That is MY opinion and you can have yours. I see why you're fully against of any usage, but I just PERSONALLY think it's not all that harmful as people say it is. I'm aware it waste alot of water, but the real blame is private companies. Blaming ai entirely for that, if this is your argument is just making those companies get away with their crimes. Again, it was simply out of curiosity. I'm no performative, I admit I can make mistakes sometimes without properly researching but that is why I sometimes make those. To further get educated on those topics, I'm willing to learn and everything cause that's how SOMEONE gets properly educated.
You see when sometimes I get misinformation it was mainly due to TikTok, I'm aware that also sometimes MEDIA control the internet and spread misinformation on purpose. One of the examples is a recent issue in my country right now where a student was red-tagged, to justify her being shot. AFP claimed that but it is of course untrue. So I often times believe them, specially when it's about actually bad people like Trump. Thinking back to that one time I thought he wanted to make 14 a legal age but turns out it was another thing explained by @Lebron pookie. I'm saying this because I genuinely don't trust the results sometimes by articles or what, I'm sure you're aware on how some bad politicians can be advertised as good or it nitpicks only their good side. How victims are silenced and their controversies gets pushed down, so of course that's where misinformation can come in and how some people can be simply unaware. It's a human mistake and hey I admit that I don't investigate further sometimes and that's totally on me.
all of you preach about how anti-ai you are until you decide that using it is "funny" for ur "niche internet discourse", you couldve stopped the first time and that'll be it, i know using ai is unavoidable in some cases cus the Google js forces you too, but why do you need to use ai genuinely for the stupidest reason such as this?
