i hate when people act like bl/gl is the only romance genre with a lot of rape in it. like, that’s objectively not true? het romance novel authors literally produce 10 stories per second about loch ness monster stepdad rape. nsfw het manga is also like this, except it’s tentacles instead of the loch ness monster and an uncle instead of a stepdad. with manhwa, they’re not as creative with het stories to my knowledge, so they just get regular rape, incest, and ntr. even if it’s not a smut based story, it still has the typical dubious consent or red flag rapist ml’s. people only think het stories are safe from this cause they’re reading 14+ shoujo romance where they’re not even allowed to draw nipples, so no duh??? i’m also convinced people are just purposely looking for stories with these themes and then complaining. genuinely just google what you want, and unless it’s something obscure, you’ll get several results and manga lists. these people will deadass read porn and then be mad when it’s porn. dude, the tag says smut, and you’re online talking about how all bl is fetish content? maybe let’s use our critical thinking skills and not read stories with names like “twink tops: office harem rape king edition” and expect a profound story? a lot of these people are just homophobic and refuse to admit it, because no one ever gets called a fetishizer (IM SO SICK OF THIS TERM) for reading het smut, but even if it’s the most basic sex, you get called one if it’s in a bl/gl, like it’s clear you people still see being gay as a taboo. even if the sex is crazy, why do you gaf? go leave your reviews for “breeding with bigfoot”. your opinion on gay sex has been heard one too many times, go spread the love . i can’t wait for the day when heterosexuality gets outlawed and being straight is considered a fetish. the world will be right soon, inshallah.
