People have become so insensitive nowadays

I hate that every time a tragedy is posted, doesn't matter how brutal the news is there will be people instead of either offering condolences or getting mad at the perpetrators . They have the audacity to try and be funny, get likes or reactions out of people. In TikTok it's like so fucking worse cause just stop. I don't know what goes through these people's head to think it's so funny or quirky to react like that when the post is something serious and something one should concern about. Gosh I'd rather have those boomers or gen X who take everything way too seriously that acts like it's the end of the world if u mention the word gay around their child. Than people commenting heavily edited pics of ishowspeed or whatever AI reaction meme over a post where it talks about child dying in the most terrifying way. Because it devalue so much of the situation. It's just plain disrespectful and fucked up overall.
