I LOVE MY BEST FRIEND

Cheesy alert.. I'M SORRY GUYS

I have a hard time putting names to my feelings and figuring out what I really like… but one thing I’m sure of is that what I feel for my best friend is genuine love. They’re my favorite person, no doubt about it.

Um.. no, it’s not romantic. I’ve had a crush before, and when I compare that to what I feel for my best friend is deeper. This is different. I love them in a way I can’t really explain, and I don’t even feel embarrassed about saying cheesy things to them anymore. Maybe it’s because they’re the only friend I really have, that I only consider as, and I’m not someone who socializes much.

I know I probably sound repetitive, telling them the same things over and over. But I just can’t help it... I appreciate them so much, and I want them to know. I love them so much .. And the fact that they feel the same way makes me happier than I can put into words.

I’ve never felt this much love for anyone, not even my family. When I’m with them, I feel safe. Like no matter what’s going on, it’ll be okay as long as they’re there. Sometimes I catch myself imagining our future together, even fantasizing about living under the same roof someday... I really do hope that we do get to live together someday.

Again, I'm sorry guys... I just really like my best friend and I have no one to talk to about this. I'll just delete this if I feel shame.
