narcissistic mother
im in my 20s and just realized that there's nothing can truly save you from mentally unstable & narcisstic mother, it doesn't get better when i thought all of that will eventually gone as my teenager phase end. i remember she stop loving me & start hating me when i had my first period, mind her that all this time i raised my ownself, somehow i wonder why some mothers doesn't even like their daughters

I get you. I moved far ish away from mine in my 20s and our relationship improved a lot after that. In my early 20s I had a big feelings about it and blamed her for a lot of things. I have now forgiven her because at the end of the day, it’s also her first time living. She made mistakes when raising me for sure but a lot of them are things that were learned behaviours from her own mom, who was institutionalized when she was quite young. It doesn’t make her beahaviour okay, but it allows me to understand and empathize. We won’t ever have the relationship I wish we did, but I have decided that I do want to have one with her, even if it’s imperfect.
glad to heard that for you i stop hoping my relationship with her will get fixed, everytime i look at her there's nothing but anger & hurt. i hope everyone out; esp soon to be mother— will fix themself first before decided to have a children, bcs what will their children grow up as was depending on their childhood. this type of pain need to stop at this generation, we break the cycle <3
i see you. i have a narcissistic mother too. it will never get better, either you stay and suffer or leave and find peace. hell, it will get worse bc they can’t control you anymore. you’re 100% valid, she doesn’t deserve you one bit. i wish you find happiness and that you break free from her, she’s never gonna change, even if you breakdown in front of her. it’s the saddest part
someone once say that the best way you can choose is move far away for both your mental and physical bcs it'll never get better as long as you near her, you can change nor fix her, she choose to be miserable for the rest of her life, nothing can beat narcissistic mother hatred for their own children & no kids deserve this. thank you so much baby i hope you're doing fine too & get every good things that you deserve <3 i see you too, all of us can find happiness on our own even without mother figure.
