do you guys remember old manga having cute tidbits and anecdotes from the author
like a separate omake release, or even the author's comments on the side of the chapter even when only half of the chapters were released. manga back then felt so authentic and personal compared to now ｡◕‿◕｡

Nowadays, manga authors rarely put such cute little messages, except maybe at a season finale or the end of a volume.
People like JoJo Bizarre adventure's mangaka and even Gege Akutami (and others that I can't remember lol) usually did stuff like that
