I'm an atheist, ex Muslim. I left my religion after reading quran and hadith. I started studying Islam after observing how violently misogynistic, homophobic and intolerant Muslim society was. I don’t think there’s anything wrong with having faith in a higher power, but icl, I don’t understand it. Tbh, I think as I am growing older and looking at life from my perspective, I see religion as more so a hope that people had made to survive.
