A little rant
My mom is OBSESSED with ghost and mystical things, and religious at the same time. I'm not "rebellious" (like not believing in God and different have a religion), and I don't really believe in those mystical things either (kinda, but not really)
Yes, I did experience some ghost thing twice at most in my life, and never experience it again. I rarely tell my mom to stop obsession over those mystical bullshit cause I know that'll just lead to a fucking long ass argument. But I'm SICK of her telling me to do/don't do this and that just because of those "ghosts".
Like I just moved out 3 days ago and she already ask me more than twice if anyone knock on my door (she meant whether some ghost is bothering me or not). It pisses me off so bad whenever she do/said things to me JUST BECAUSE OF THOSE THINGS THAT MAY NOT EVEN EXIST!!
I'm not gonna lie, I'm more scared of humans than those "ghosts". But she never willing to listen to my complain.

my mom did the same thing when I first moved out of the house. she told me to take a bath with my underwear on so that demon wouldn't see my dick. I'd flash my asshole to that demon if they're real why would I care if they see it but I just nodded and pretend I'm listening
just remember they're worried for you. and some superstition do have some truth in them. for example in my mom case, since I'm moving to a new place, I wouldn't know if there's a peephole or a camera hidden somewhere in the room (yes I'm equally as paranoid but to human not ghost) so yeah wearing underwear to hide my privates make sense
but it does get to a point. if she start telling you to do weird stuff with seemingly no reason then just ignore it, talking some sense to them is like talking to wall
