I doubt AI will kill us by 2030. Most of everybody hates it and I've ALLEGEDLY seen videos of giving tips on how to "legally" get rid of data centers. Planting invasive bamboo is an option because it can literally grow in walls and ruin a lot of things. Or maybe just maybe aim all your 4th of July fireworks at data centers. AI isn't that advanced yet to be able to kill us. We'll either die first due to the effects of global warming(such as extreme weather or natural disasters), die from humans(war, being stripped off of rights like some said, or starvation just cuz of inflation), or a pandemic. ai by itself won't but lack of clean water and how it's fucking the environment will. also ai pairing w facial recognition tech will be what turns the entire world into an authoritarian state, w little drones flying around everywhere watching for people to step out of line.   reply
