it's a case-to-case basis and genetics play a huge factor but that aside, my skincare is basically ”less is more”. i do cleanse, toner, moisturizer, and sunscreen then i just call it a day. sometimes when im lazy and inside, i just double cleanse then that's it. my skin isn't perfect but i haven't had horrible breakouts ever since i turned teen......   reply

Yes. It does. I used to be like you: just plain water and soap these often result in pimples and black head, scars and just skin looking really gross when you put make up on even if I use hydrating cream, oil with vitaming and healing effects & primer. Soap and water aren't enough to clean the pores and treat dry and oily skin btw. Even if you're p......   reply

honestly the best skin i have had was when my gut was CLEAN and my protein intake was spot on and I had quit processed sugar completely and my sleep schedule was banging and i took 8-10 hrs sleep daily, along with me working out 30 mins a day atleast and when i was walking 10K steps a day. that being said, yes, skincare works but only when you're l......   1 reply

As someone who used to splurge a lot on skin care.. just honestly do the basics. Cleansing, moisturizing, sunscreen.. that's it. Please do NOT experiment on combining products in one routine since some of them can do more harm than good (e.g multiple acids.. that shit will FRY your skin). Do your research, and consult a dermatologist as much as pos......   reply

Since I got a normal skin type, I don’t use many products. Less is good to be honest and consistency. Moisturiser and Sunscreen is a must for me. Plus Hyaluronic and Niacin......   reply

You should definitely use the basics like cleanser, moisturizer, and sunscreen. I recommend finding you skin type and buy skincare made for your skin type for less risk of breaking out. If you use a product that is not made for you or one that has harsh pH then it will definitely clogged your pores and cause breakouts. Personally I only use oil cle......   reply

Uhhh similar situation! Since secondary school I've grown up and seen people's faces break out but I've never had mine done so and I never touched any skincare products. As I got older I thought the process was fun though lol so I tried some. -Facemasks I'm not sure of the purpose for face masks since I don't see a difference but again, fun. -Cle......   reply

if you don't really have any skin problem, you don't need to use many active ingredient. like other reply said, moisturizer, vit c, and sunscreen is enough. i like to add a pore cleansing mask and use them like once a week but yeah that's basically it. imo rather than spending money on skincare, i think you better get skin treatment like booster or......   1 reply
