★ this post is not an encouragement to harass people, no matter how creepy or weird they are, and even if they're absolute pieces of shit that stalk other users to drag them down, do not go and insult them or harass them, this only reflects negatively on the uploaders and people getting harassed. If you harass these people you essentially them a reason to victimise themselves.
★ my post is only to bring up more attention about these situations + the stories related to them, I've started reading a few of those stories and It's just baffling, they're good. Not great or philosophical by any means, but they're still good emotional stories that deserve attention, but all they're getting is petty 1 stars because people can't let go of a grudge.
★ if you know any other stories that are getting a similar treatment, or any other uploaders who are getting constantly harassed, please do let me know so I can do the same and talk about it and bring it out to the people, as neither the story nor the uploader deserve to get this treatment.
- people are geniunely just regressing, they are becoming more insufferable as time moves one, it's just so tiring to see good stories get rated badly because of some stupid grudge people hold for some users. People have been avoiding these mangas because they get rated so low and it's only affecting the story's community and the uploaders' mental health. I understand that people want uploaders not to care about these things, I do too, but it genuinely gets hard to ignore after a while. Uploaders are people who share stories they like with the world. They spend time and effort into translating these interests and in return? All they get is a shit rating becsuse people hold grudges
It is seriously so very disheartening. People can't separate their grudge from the respect they SHOULD have towards a person regardless of their difference in views < given that said difference is not problematic/containing illegal/unaccepted matter >
Not only that, but these people are willing to go as far as they can to soil a person's name and fire arrogant and blatantly wrong accusations at these people trying to get their reputation after they've hunted their joy for translating and sharing their interests with others.
• if you are willing to check out these stories, please give them an honest review and let me know what you think of them. They are more than their ratings, they deserve more than creeps crawling out of their corners to bring such stories down. And please support the uploader, I know she made her final decision and doesn't want to continue uploading this, but know that she has not done anything to deserve her translation and her hardwork getting stepped on. Her problems with people are a separate matter that a few seem to not be able to digest as something to stand alone than her hardwork.

How miserable are these people to make multiple accounts just to systematically one star every upload and downvote every comment y'all make.
I honestly could care less about how people treat me on the Internet, I mean I do get hurt and I very anxious about the way people of think of me online, but at the end of the day I can't change how these people choose to look at me because they've already painted me the way they like me to be.
I cant say I feel the same when it comes to other users though, it's not even about misan being my friend, it's just a very childish move, these stories didnt deserve to be dragged down, neither did misan, people are willing to hate anything so easily without an ounce of thought about how it could affect someone :(
instead of making these posts, you guys should be emailing mangago. multiple of you, same message explaining what's happening + add proof. when mgg gets enough emails and actually understands how serious this 1 star spamming is, they will delete the account and ALL the alts with the same IP. I've personally seen it happen a couple of times here. that's the ONLY pragmatic solution. everything else is just you wasting breath and giving that person exactly the attention they want. and imo this whole "don't harass them" rhetoric is so dumb, you're going as far as hiding their username and protecting them at this point. I wouldn't be surprised if people started thinking you're doing all this just for clout (not saying that yall are doing it, but I can see it happening). also wdym that the uploader "spend time and effort into translating"?? These stories are fairly unknown and unpopular, there's not enough people who are capable of getting a response if we E-mail those people. That is why I made this post, as said before, to bring attention to the situation and make people understand the wave of down rating that is happening, if it works hopefully we will be able to generate what you're suggesting and making it happen.
Hiding the usernames and avoiding to bring them up is exactly to avoid giving said people the attention, this post is not about the people who are harassing, its like I said before in the post before, to bring attention to those stories and explain why they have a low rating among others.
I guess on this website you're damned if you do damned if you don't, exposing their names and profiles is seen as attention seeking and harassment, but if I hide their user and ask people to not go out of their way to harass them I'm also attention seeking and protecting them ?? Don't get me wrong I'm not trying to disrespect you. It's merely stating that this isn't even about those people, its about the stories that are getting shat on for no reason. The example was just to showcase the harassment the uploader is getting for no reason, its not even about these users in any way.

the webmaster rarely ever bans people unfortunately. hundreds of people have emailed them regarding the ai uploaders issue, yet they purposely ignore it.
ai uploaders are a different issue though. of course mgg will never ban them since it indirectly profits from them through ad revenue. but last time I saw someone get their face pic doxxed here, mgg took two days to read the email and delete the account that did it. same goes for spammers. I've seen people get their accounts deleted because mgg saw they were spamming in the questions section. same thing for accounts that spammed in the sharing section. if you keep emailing them about the account, they will eventually do something. yall need to be patient but the way I see it, yall kicked the bucket before even trying. otherwise do contact their og page and see if that works at least
I understand where you're coming from seeing your experience. But from ours, they haven't responded most of the times we've reported something and / or e-mailed them about it. I have tried emailing them before on seperate issues regarding troll users and people who have harassed me, and they've done nothing to help me by any means, my requests were ignored at best.
And again I see your point but there was no way for me to consider this solution given my personal experience, I still suspect it even if you say it does, once again due to my own experience with the moderation on this site. Many share the same view on how poorly it is handled, spammers/trolls only get banned if they get recognition and by that generate mass reports on themselves, and I've told you already that these is certainly no way of this working given how unpopular these stories are, basically no one gives a shit about them so they wont bother writing emails / reports towards users who hate it.
That being said, I will try your method, I presume a week is enough of waiting, taking in that it took you around 2 days for your problems to be resolved. If it doesn't, I think I've done the only right thing I could do by calling for these stories to have more attention.

mangago has never banned anyone for spamming or doxxing someone. they simply do not care if someone gets doxxed or banned. the user that doxxed someone must’ve deleted their account, i can tell you from my own experience that the webmaster could care any less about you being doxxed.
you do not get banned from spamming, you get restricted by bots. nuance. i’ve been restricted twice before, my account appears as deleted, but it is not for me. that’s what happens.
anyway, like i said, dming the webmaster is pointless. i know you mean well, i get it, but you don’t know mangago very well… they don’t give a f about us they read our emails, they simply choose to ignore it, that’s all. i can promise you that dming them won’t change ANYTHING.

But regardless, I do think a lot BL stories these days lack the Interest element for me personally. Stories are very repetitive and boring and are focused on following what's popular rather than being creative and special on there own. That is why I find myself reading less and less yaoi as time goes on, its not lack of interest in the genre itself, as I'm capable of getting excited and invested in a good plot line/story, I think it's just the amount of boring recycled stories that keep getting popular
It is also not in favor for the stories that what's getting recycled is misleading 'psychological' and 'dark' story tags when they're blatant irrelevant and unnecessary rape and things of similar manner. I enjoy the representation of these themes when theyre done properly, and in a manner that doesnt glorify them or normalise them, which I find lacking in 80% of the stories popular nowadays...
• for example I like stories like 'no more Eurydice' and 'curveball and splitter' and 'dreaming of the dokkaebi'. I find no more eurydice to be the most interesting out of the those three but regardless, these stories arent great by any means either, they are amazing on their own as stories that came out at the same time as many repetitive and boring mangas / manhwas too

I understand people want us to not care these stories are getting review bombed but so many users are getting straight up harassed and it’s been going on for months now it sucks and unless youre the one dealing with it u won’t understand.
