No. I started reading yaoi and BL when I got sick and tired of the stereotypes placed on woman in shojo in general. I read it because men in society have more power in general l and also in a relationship because of gender norms. So reading a story were both people are on equal footing in societies eyes (or adleast in concept (insert omega-verse) ......
