I actually didn’t find out till recently that she wasn’t well like, I absolutely adore her and think she’s hilarious. I can understand the dislike. She’s basically a typical dumb Shounen protagonist but female, I still think she’s funny af.

When everyone mistreats and misunderstands the MC. Then, when the misunderstanding or whatever resolves, MC dies. Extra points if the other characters know if they were decent to MC they could have been saved

I dislike female characters that center men in their story, even if it’s a growth story. But the way the author portrays her struggling with her self-esteem and her inner securities was really well done. Especially when we get to see more depth to her character and mental health.
