Haven’t told anyone in my personal life that I am asexual, and I’m not sure I plan on doing so, so I can’t really give tips. If I did though, I think my parents will probably worry about the fact that I won’t have anyone with me in my old age.   2 reply

That is one thing I do not care for in the yaoi fandom community. I like yaoi for the pretty pictures of hot guys, but have never understood the need to “ship”. Like isn’t it their enough yaoi to satisfy the need that thy need to try and see “boys love” everywhere they look? SMH   2 reply

Female here, and I completely understand. Usually I don’t like female characters. I feel like there is a fine line between strong female and b*tch, and overwhelmingly authors don’t know how to handle that subtlety. Just a sh* tty story in general. After so many years I've gotten more intoned with what I like, so I try to avoid mangas that have things not appealing to me, but if I have to say something that makes me regret I read it would be a story that starts off a certain way and somehow switches gears.   1 reply

I wouldn’t care if they changed yo the characters as long as they were more díverse. The thing is that they’re not. They aren’t making previously white-looking characters into Asians, Hispanics or Middle Eastern, they’re only switching from white to black.
