I don’t know what possessed me but maybe it’s because my boyfriend was talking about how he tried to write a novel but gave up so maybe that just sparked my competitive spirit or something, but I decided to make a novel

OK, so basically the plot is this completely ordinary. Random guy gets hit by a car.(ofc) and basically saved by the system a canon folder system, and he’s just supposed to be a background character who’s supposed to help the main characters and complete his little missions to help them and then go onto the next world because this is a world hopping novel, but because he keeps messing up his missions bc of his horrible luck and he keeps making everyone misunderstand that he’s some crazy smart, manipulative, mastermind, and that he’s behind everything if that makes sense and the first world that I’m building right now is basically he’s misunderstand to be some crazy smart super spy, but reality he’s not everybody just misunderstands him to be that and basically here is chapter 1. Tell me what it needs to improve on

"HEY BLISS HURRY UP AND GET GOING WITH THIS  DELIVERY"

" sorry going now, boss!"

Going as fast as possible I picked up the pizza box put on my scooter and started hurrying up to the delivery place

'Shit I need to hurry if I'm late to one more delivery boss is going to kill me!'
 
Luckily, the place wasn't that far away just a little house in the suburbs, only two blocks away arriving just in time getting off my motorcycle and heading to the house

*knock knock*

Opening a door was a teenager who looked about 15 to maybe 16 clearly uninterested

" hi here's your pizza, ma'am" I said, as I put a polite smile on my face,

" yeah uh thanks"

"Sigh at least she said thanks unlike some people"

Noticing a bright light, I glanced up at a billboard plastered with some celebrity’s perfect face. Smiling bright, selling who-knows-what—probably toothpaste, maybe perfume, didn’t matter. His fans would buy it anyway, just because it had his face on it.

“Hah. Must be nice, living life on easy mode. No worries about money. Everybody loving you.”

Before I knew it, I was mumbling out loud, words spilling with that creeping, bitter jealousy. But can you really blame me? My life was… boring. Pathetically boring. Same old routine: wake up, rush deliveries, get yelled at by the boss, get doors slammed in my face. Go home. Pass out. Repeat.

Lost in thought, another light caught my eye.

“Huh? Make a wish?”

This time, it was a massive billboard glowing even brighter than the last.a Cheesy text glared back at me: “Make a wish, and the heavens above shall bestow it upon you!” A church ad.

I snorted. “The heavens above, huh? Fine. If you’re listening, I wish I could finally get out of this boring old life.”

Feeling stupid, I swung my leg over the scooter—

—and froze.

A blinding light came rushing toward me.

‘Heavens above answering my begging? …No, it’s a fucking CAR!’

Bang!

‘Hahaha… get rid of that old boring life? I WOULD DO ANYTHING TO GET IT BACK.’

The gunshot yanked me back to the present. I dove for cover, praying no bullet would find my head.

“WE KNOW YOU’RE THE ONE BEHIND EVERYTHING! THERE’S NO POINT IN DENYING IT!”

Before I could even say anything, gunfire rained down, clearly trying to do more than just corner me.

“Haha… hahahaha!”

The officers froze. Seeing me laugh like that, bullets flying all around, a cold chill ran down their spines. One thought echoed in every mind:

‘HE’S FUCKING INSANE!’

But unbeknownst to them, I wasn’t laughing because it was funny. No. I was laughing because it was ridiculous.

‘Hah. God, you must really love playing with me. Behind everything? He doesn’t even know what he’s supposed to be behind. He was just a normal pizza delivery guy a few months ago!’

‘Shit… how the hell did I even get here in the first place’

I spun around to see where the sarcastic, annoyingly smug if I may add voice came from. Floating in front of me was a glowing light… with a face?

“What the hell… what are you supposed to be?”

“Wait, are you God, or… OH COME ON! I wasn’t even a bad person. Lazy, maybe, but bad? No!”

Instead of a response, it just gave me a deadpan stare, basically screaming Are you crazy?

“…sigh. Why do I always get the dumb ones?”

And now it was my turn to be silent.

I decided to tell my boyfriend that I needed a break from each other for a few days and he handled it really good and respected my decision and Ithought I should do this because I just haven't been feeling like it's been the same between us these past few days like the spark just hasn't been there for me he said that he didn't feel that way and he felt that everything was fine but now I don't know if that was the right decision because we haven't broken up just taking a break if that makes sense and I feel really bad I don't know if this break was a good decision and yes I still do love him and he still does love me the problem was that I think I was just spending ALL my time with him like I wasn't talking to my friends or anybody else besides him and eventually I started to get bored and kind of overwhelmed so I really hope this space is a good idea

OK so this random guy asked for my socials or my number and tbh I didn’t wanna give him my number because I just met him and I didn’t have any other socials besides discord so I decided just to give him my discord because we actually did have a really fun conversation so I wouldn’t mind becoming friends with him but at the end of conversation, he started flirting so I’m like oh shit this isn’t just a friendship thing is it but I already gave him my discord and I couldn’t just take it back so in the end, I just decided to end the conversation and said I had to go and later on when I checked my discord I seen that there was no friend request so I was actually really relieved and then I thought of something I want to go and check my username you know like the thing you give people so they can send friend request…I GAVE HIM THE WRONG ONE I mean I’m glad I did but I feel bad because he’s going to think I’m ignoring him or gave him the wrong one on purpose
