Romance stories with a "revenge" plot are most likely to be shit... Either the revenge is extremely lackluster or it never happens ESPECIALLY if the revenge is towards the main lead :') be it either straight or gay they all have the same problem ToT

No I totally understand you and I'm the same, preferably I don't want the mc to end up with the ml at all but that almost never happens so I can only hope for a really but really good redemption arc but anyways glad I'm not the only one I thought I was crazy

Forgiving a horrible character cuz they have sad past and shit on people that don't forgive them, calling people assholes, saying that they don't have feelings and that they don't even try to understand that character. Those "morally right" and "feeling" people that are up their ass piss me off so bad

The most obvious one is when the uke goes back with their abuser but another ick that I have is when it's a story about revenge and they don't go through it specially when their revenge is justified and the ml is a shitty person. Like- I already know to avoid yaoi stories that have "revenge" written on it cuz we all know it ain't gonna happen
