I used to read "trash books" on the tram and one of those had hardcore smut scenes. Totally fine reading in public. Sometimes it was unbearable tho because they were horribly written and I had to hold back my laughter. What i can't do is read smutty webcomics in public. Tried that once and I'll never do it again. I would strongly suggest going to a repair shop and asking about it. You don't have to repair it that moment, just ask about an rough estimate it would cost you to get it fixed. I'd suggest it's because of the rise of pornhwa. Sexual contents have always existed ofc but the colored pages make them more appealing than ever and the covers are wayyyy more suggestive than they used to be. People just click on them way more often.   reply
