As far as I know—though I’m in no way a professional—pain in dreams is considered rare and an indication of poor mental health. How “real” the pain feels more so depends on the person, but not much is known due to how difficult dreams are to study. I am of the belief that people deserve the chance to atone, but that it does not erase what they have done. People act like this is a black-and-white situation, to forgive or not to forgive. But you can allow someone to try and better themselves, to be kind to them and let them stay by you, without actually forgiving them entirely. I don’t beli......   reply
