Don't get me started. I hate the age gap between the kids. Why is a 11 year old boy falling in love with a 5 year old girl? That's a baby. It's weird and unrealistic. I think bl authors get away with a lot of bad, lazy writing and we should have higher standards for the media we consume. So many of these top rated ones have cardboard cut outs for protagonists, but somehow they always manage to break what little character they have. Only heard it from a friend so I might be missing some details but I think the form the event took doesn't matter.
