I think people don't realize how much is lost in translation. One time I tried translating to english a manga from french and spanish scans since I speak both languages and the two versions kept contracting each other. For example: "there's no way I'd be scared" and "how could I not get scared" I gave up halfway through. Not really picking a side h......   2 reply

Personally, therapy didn't help me at all. The only therapist I ever saw basically told me that my fear of rejection is unfounded since I never got bullied and my social anxiety isn't THAT bad cuz I can still function, right? As long as I have a job and go to school, it's fine (yay thanks). I was only looking for reassurance that I'm not making it ......   reply

I can't comment on depression, but I've been fighting (losing) a battle agaisnt insomnia for like a decade now. The thing is that it can't really be diagnosed. Insomnia is often a sign of underlying issues, so I would think about that first. Are you an anxious person who overthinks while trying to fall asleep? Here I was thinking your friend was dating some 25 year old. So he thinks she's like 18 or 19 but she's actually 17...
