Hello everyone, so I'm writing the script of a visual novel which is BL related. However, I'm having so many troubles with my team that I don't know what to do. The OG game dev who gathered us all left the group and ghosted us right after so someone else took the position. One of the programmers also ghosted us and I later found out that he was feeling depressed (he stayed in the group and didn't assume any responsibility so we were designating the tasks and all the while he was silent as a stone).
The person who took on the role of the game dev, was going to be one of the writers but she had family problems and requested to be in charge of the UI instead. Fast forward, she ghosts the group as well.
I was stressed during this project because I had to do the UI and the writing and take on the role as a game dev and the only people who were on board were the artist and the other programmer.
I'm now doing the rest of the script and I feel so disappointed withe the project because I focused on covering up for my teammates so much that I feel like the story itself isn't worth anything.
What do I do? Do I drop the project? or do I hold on till the script is finished even if the game itself is half baked in other aspects?
