Give me your opinion on today’s media and what you like/dislike about it. When I say media I’m referring to comics/books mainly but this can be about shows, movies, music etc.

I feel like people are misusing the word “toxic” when it comes to bl… you guys like ABUSIVE bl not toxic…when I think of toxic I think of two characters hating each other but wanting to fuck each other at the same time. Guys, I'm sick with second male lead syndrome rn…it hurts so much, it feels like I can't breathe and I feel so heartbroken PLEASE MAKE IT END AHHHHH. It's a chronic condition I've been dealing with for a while now. Every time I see a submissive, beautiful, overall better second male lead I get so dizzy and then I fall seriously ill. With the amount of women/straight women reading bl you’d think they’re reading it because they’re both men but they don’t treat bottoms as men. Bottoms are constantly portrayed AND treated like women(in a weird caricaturistic/misogynistic way) … not to say that men that are feminine are automatically seen as women, I don’t think that’s the case much irl. I’m talking about in the bl realm. This is just something I’ve noticed a lot and I wonder if anyone else agrees or noticed the same thing.
