To me personally marriage isn't really important. But since I want to adopt in the future, it seems like it's going to be necessary. I looked up the laws of the country I'll be living in, and you need to be married for 3 years to be eligible for it. It didn't say anything about same sex couples though, so I'm a bit worried. ^^;
