I think it's really weird how many people read yaoi and don't understand the history of the genre or why yaoi is so normalized in cultures that are deeply homophobic. Yaoi is a genre created by women for women. It's great that gay men are embracing it, but that's a very new phenomenon and it's not a genre that caters to gay men. It very obviously......   1 reply
