Or, if there is... it's such a cheap attempt that it basically doesn't count. And like people come to me talking about how good said BL is, but when I read it, I can actively list every single one that I have read that is similar in some way shape or form.

The last original BL that I actually liked was Ooe and that's not even a manga, but a visual novel.

And the last time a fictional malexmale couple genuinely interest me was Phainon and Mydei from a game... that isn't about gay people.

Like how is HSR is making me kick my legs, but the yaoi I read for yaoi purposes doesn't?

I cleaned my dad's apartment today (he's in china rn) and my god, what filth is this man living in.

The countertops are filled with that... oil that has been left out for too long and so it's crusted and hard on it.

The glass thing on top of the stove is like that too.

His microwave oven was a dark brown. When I finished cleaning it... it was clear... clear... CLEAR

but yknow, only the places he uses are dirty, so there are a lot of these 'spots' where there's only this layer of dust... because he never uses it.

It confuses me.

So, someone I know recently started sobbing because Alien Stage is now behind a paywall for extremely important lore-related content. basically there are some comics or something that you need to pay $5 US dollars for, which is a lot depending on where you live and people are kind of livid for it.

I personally think... for a "series" who basically had a mass marketing campaign based on making the audience feel things... I mean it was bound to happen. Like, idk if you guys know about it, but Kagerou Project (or Mekukacity Actors) was in the same boat and they got a manga, light novel, and anime (started off as songs written by JIN).

But, from what I see of Alien Stage, it feels a lot more disjointed than Kagerou Project (they had sold them in volumes and stuff, idk correct me if I'm wrong). So you guys are more susceptible to this kind of paywall because you won't necessarily know what you get from it and how valuable it is.

Anyway, I don't really... like Alien Stage or understand the community behind it so people who like Alien Stage, what do you feel about your jigsaw puzzle of a "story" getting locked behind a paywall? Genuinely curious.

Because I see some people being like "this is scummy!" but like, it's... a marketable series, ofc Vivinos is going to try to make money for it.

I think I would be enough of a pushover to accept it, only to hate it so much.

But because I already accepted it, I would straight up try to ruin the other relationship.
