Anything that depicts brown people as slaves, poor, barbaric, aggressive, or animalistic. It’s because it’s a defense mechanism. These type of people almost feel threatened or judged when you call out problematic media so that’s why they will always say “ it’s just fiction” so they can continue to enjoy problematic media without truly thinking about it or the impact it can have   1 reply
