Characters that are depressed and emo I really like in fiction but irl I think we'd have a pretty toxic relationship since I cope using toxic positivity/fake it till you make it which doesn't work when I am close with people or things that are outwardly depressed/depressing. It'd probably encourage me to spiral which helps no one.
