Because pretty privilege tbh like they can't comprehend that a character portrayed so beautifully could be bad. Even without their so called "redemption-arc". The character has to be either faceless or this for them to hate on the character lmao otherwise they think these hot characters has a reason for acting such ways.

Honestly the age of consent in pH is 16 so that's one of also the problems, btw it used be fucking 12 but it only changed RECENTLY IN 2021. The lack of sex education too also play a part in why this issue is so massive and why alot of teens are being pregnant.

One example is Cherry blossoms after winter, let's be fr that series was actually good until like season 3 I think where they started to have sex. Not only the quality of plot just went to porn, we had an unnecessary side couple who was just about rape. It ruined the vibe of "wholesome manhwa".
