Writing about rape isn't bad. Writing a poor portrayal of rape, is bad. Romanticizing, normalizing, and desensitizing rape, is the problem. People who use fiction as an excuse for poorly written rape is already that desensitized they need to come up with a reason as to why people shouldn't criticize the poorly written rape.
