This is increadibly unsettling. To think that my man had so many side pieces. Kindly, please leave my man Gintoki alone.
You all can have Elizabeth instead.

I’ll try to mention the ones I think are really underrated and deserve more hype:
A Letter from Keanu Reeves.
I’m currently reading this, and even though I’m only halfway through, I can say with full confidence that it’s worth every bit of your time. It’s just so pretty.
Like REAL pretty.
The feeling it evokes is gentle and melancholic.......

I’m really into The Lumineers (especially 'Ophelia'), and I highly recommend Jesse Welles—his songs tackle social issues in such a thought-provoking way. Also, you all have to listen to 'Afreen Afreen' by Momina Mustehsin and Rahat Fateh Ali Khan. I came across it randomly and it's been stuck in my head (it's best not to directly support the tr......

I’m obsessed with 'The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy'. It’s always on my mind! I still can’t get over 'The Reluctant Fundamentalist' by Mohsin Hamid and 'As Long as the Lemon Tree Grows' by Zoulfa Katouh (they are so cute. Look at them. Augh, why must life be so cruel. My babies). Both books were deeply eye-opening.
Also, please read 'Qi......

Lately, it’s been fun. The semester’s manageable since my subjects overlap with the skills I picked up over the holidays. A class got canceled today, so my friends and I went critter-hunting around campus. There’ve been tons lately, probably because our green campus is under construction in older parts, letting animals wander in, plus many fa......

I keep craving to meet new people like it’s a hobby, but the second I do, my brain goes buffering and I suddenly forget how to human. Am I a socially anxious extrovert? Or just an introverted pup with connection issues? Really wanna change this about me...

Ki Sisters. The characters are so dynamic that I am afraid k-industry might just butcher their portrayal.

I love it if it is not one of those violent tsunderes that beat up their crush in embarassment. It's such a cute trope if done right. And it's so fun to see other characters tease a tsundere.
That said, I do prefer it more when both parties are very very chalant so I don't read the tsundere trope intentionally until I do accidentally come across i......

I ain't no debator, but being a software eng student, when we are all clumped into groups for projects, there is always an argument on what system or language to use for a particular sturcture or part.
So I have learned one key detail I employ in each argument.
The way to win a debate is to persuade your opponent to accept the conclusion of your a......

I'm a Software Engineering major. For me, college has been worth it for two main reasons. First, I had no guidance or direction before joining, college gave me hands-on experience, exposure to different people and paths, and a clearer sense of where I want to go. Second, and this one's kinda personal, but I wanted that “engineer” title, mostly ......

I usually choose safe reads, so my experiences are mostly positive (aside from the sudden heartbreak of Scammed & Rammed and Bad Apple). So because of that mostly positive experience I don’t dislike any particular trope, but I do wish there were more BL manga/manhwa/ manhua with strong action, mystery, or thought-provoking plots, like Little Mush......

Back in second grade, our school was under army jurisdiction, right next to their cantonment (a place where they housed the families of soldiers and also had many offices and training facilities. This is why many of their children attended the school too and we would be directly aware of any state issues first hand). One day, a bomb went off in the......

I’m not sure what usually helps pull someone out of a reading slump, but one that always works for me, and I hope it does for you too, is 'Fake Slackers' novel. It’s funny, cute, and so wholesome. More on the slice-of-life side and without angst, so it may not grab you right away, but the ambience, characters, and flow have a way of really stay......

I used to think the sky was just one big black cloak, and the stars were punctures in it, tiny holes letting the light of heaven shine through. I was so jealous of astronauts, because I imagined they could tear open their own space in that cloak and step beyond, straight into heaven.
Also, I thought the moon was cheese because of one Tom & Jerry e......
