I’ll try to mention the ones I think are really underrated and deserve more hype: A Letter from Keanu Reeves. I’m currently reading this, and even though I’m only halfway through, I can say with full confidence that it’s worth every bit of your time. It’s just so pretty. Like REAL pretty. I’m really into The Lumineers (especially 'Ophelia'), and I highly recommend Jesse Welles—his songs tackle social issues in such a thought-provoking way. I usually choose safe reads, so my experiences are mostly positive (aside from the sudden heartbreak of Scammed & Rammed and Bad Apple). So because of that mostly positive experience I don’t dislike any particular trope, but I do wish there were more BL manga/manhwa/ manhua with strong action, mystery, or thought-provoking plots, like Little Mush......   2 reply

I’m not sure what usually helps pull someone out of a reading slump, but one that always works for me, and I hope it does for you too, is 'Fake Slackers' novel. It’s funny, cute, and so wholesome.
