In my culture, an itching palm is a sign of a monetary fortune, whether loss or gain, and it's especially prevalent among the elderly. I kept itching my palm infront of my grandma once and the next day I was taken to this religious dude so he could 'predict' whether the 'supposed fortune' I was set to have is a gain or loss.   reply
