The thing that everyone seems to forget/ignore is that the production of the show was actually pretty high quality for the time. A lot of effort was put into it, from the musical score, to the voice acting and sound effects, and the animation. The music in the show is actually really good. Let me just say that, if you disregard the content of Boku no Pico and look at it purely from a production standpoint, it is actually really solid. Animation is good. Sound effects are good. A banger sound track. And it's the most tame and ethical shotacon thing i've seen (I don't search it out; it just comes up) Also the manga is HILARIOUS.   2 reply
