So, I've ran out of stories to read in mangago and tried webnovels/lightnovels. They're great!
But one thing I noticed is that BL novels are really niche and sites don't usually carry or highlight such novels. Other well known sites like Tapas' novel section, Scribble Hub, etc. are catered to other genres like romance or shounen.
The only community I've encountered from sites that highlights BL is Chrysanthemum Garden. But the thing is, CG consists of mostly fan translated novels from Korean/Chinese authors. There are scattered original novels, but few and far between.
But I'm looking for original novels in english. I haven't seen any sites or community that caters to it. The only sites I could think of that English authors could publish their works without conforming to strict rules are Wattpad (messy interface and horrible tagging system) that's inconvenient at best, and AO3 (which is predominantly fanfics) where their works are buried.
People go to Wattpad for hetero romance, they go to Tapas for mangas and shounen novels, go to scribble hub for romance and smut, go to CG for translated works, and AO3 for fanfics. So where do original BL novel authors go? Are they hiding in some remote corner of the internet I haven't stumbled upon? Do they not exist at all?
