I agree with you so much except for the prostitution part. As you said, many women have only 2 choices: starve or sell their bodies. So do you really believe that a desperate starving woman with mouths to feed will not choose sex work just bc it's illegal? It's literally just going to hurt women when the target should be men. I caught fire on my shirt and if it wasn't for my parents I would have burned to death together with our aprtament (I panicked really bad and didn't know what to do). I fr thought it's over for me. Luckily I got away with just a few burns and burnt off hair, though going to school being almost bald as a girl was more painful than the fire   reply

idk man I feel the same, what helps me through is realising that I’m a spoiled brat living in 21 century in a pretty nice country, I have clean water, food, electricity, internet, a place to live and like 98% people in history have had it worse than me lol. Both my parents are alcoholics and my dad get really verbally abusive when drunk, like he wouldn't shut up for literally hours (have to put on white noise on max volume to fall alseep). He also physically abuses my mom sometimes. My mum when drunk is not that bad, just sleeps, gets really emotional, hysterical and pees in bed so the whole apartment......   reply
