Yaoi is written by females for females... started that way, don't know if some are written by men at this point, but that was how it started anyway. All the gay guys that I know that like manga do not read yaoi as it's not really representative of a gay couple. yeah I've been complaining about it ever since I tried reading the first few ones. I mean if a story has rape and it's bad and it's a plot point of how screwed up it was, then ok. But most have rape into relationship and no, just no, not ok. I've had a conversation with someone who liked yaoi and was fine with it, telling me "oh it's a fantasy..."......   reply
