I really believe that AOT is gonna end with a time loop (or eren just fucking kills everyone bc there’s only 3 chs left and I saw somewhere that Isayama apparently confirmed that eren won’t “die”) so what if Armin is the one to make the time loop?? Idk how the path of the Titans work or how ymir’s will work but Eren somehow managed to convince Ymir to give him her powers so what if Armin does the same and somehow manipulate Ymir or Eren to continue a time loop so they can one day come up with a proper solution that doesn’t end with death. Bc I feel like Armin is gonna have a lot of influence with the ending, I feel like that started when he was chosen over Erwin to continue living and the recent ep of AOT and what hange said about how Armin seems like he was possessed by Erwin(taking on risky plans) it like shows how Armin is willing to make risky plays and sacrifice a few lives or manipulate a few ppl to get the end results he wants (no matter how many tries it takes hence the time loop) and how he became the next commander, how we saw how Levi doesn’t regret choosing Armin over Erwin bc he truly believes Armin is the one that’s able to solve this, and Armin’s currently realizing how “weak” he is and how he has a new found inspiration to carry on forth to make sure the sacrifices he had to make werent in vain. Also lastly since Isayama sneak in lots of spoilers in S3 where Eren is trying to convince Levi to save Armin he says “it’s not me or the commander who’s going to save humanity, it’s armin” granted at that point Eren hasn’t seen the future yet but I still feel like it’s signaling something. Again this is just my random bullshit mess,, idk if a time loop is really gonna take place but whatever the ending is, whether it’s a loop, everyone dies or eren just dies, I feel like Armin’s gonna have a big influence on that final decision
Cool theory. I think Armin is not appreciated enough. He's such a great character imo, the only one with a sane head most of the time while everyone else goes bongos
