You should read the other story the author read, about rumspringa. It's just as wholesome, with theo (from Gene's village) and Danny (the black haired kid gene bumped into). It was completed awhile ago, and its really beautiful.

I really liked it though:) very well written. I usually find old timey stories a bore but this one was unique. Didn't even feel like i was reading a story set in the 70s . I'll check out the author's other manga that links to this one!
