Oh i forgot to say this, if its in religion perspective, they they would always forgive even your crimes is so heavy, religion teach that forgiveness is one of the key to move on to our life and live new, if we continue to misserbly worry the past that hunt us then we would fall with our own emotions

Here are points and facts you should understand before judging
The emperor is doing nothing at all so I cant forgive him they say, well do remember he had a past where he didnt have a proper environment to learn and you expect him to function well? hmm will you learn 1 + 1 = 2 if no one taught you so??
Even tho we understand everyone has there own problems but resulting violence with violence will never be right, this would be a never ending war until one stepped down, but accrording to law you cant punish someone who is ill physically or mentally but in this timeline....there is no such thing, this is an 18 century webtoon (i believe from how it looks) where public execution were most fairly done.
(Lets be thankful dealth penalty is not done in our time)
But then again dealing with politics or law itself should be soley be base on facts and very well done thoughts of action so making an exception because of your personal connection or emotion is wrong! That is unjust and people would even call it corruption.

minor crimes would be drowing and hanging, murder or rubbing would result crusifixation or Catherine wheel (its hurrible) and lastly treason as done in the webtoon guillotine or in other words slaying of head by releasing the ax on top.....
